Moleman's Epic Rap Battles is, as the title would imply to anyone familiar with the latter, a ripoff of Epic Rap Battles of History (AKA the greatest web video series of all time) produced by yours truly, my current primary focus in terms of creative projects, and something I intend to make a major focus of this very blog.
My aim in designing the matchups in this series is to be unique, quirky and unpredictable, and to pander to my own popular interests as well as pay respect to them. I make a point of the battles that I do standing no chance of being done by ERBoH, in which case my versions would become eclipsed, and most of the characters I use in general stand no real chance of being in said professional series either.
Moleman's Epic Rap Battles currently has twenty-eight complete battles comprising an even two complete seasons, and Season 3 is on the way as of this posting.
Most of my early battles are self-admittedy plagued by poor voice audio quality and some lackluster-written lines, but I have over the course of my video series so far made vast improvement from that initial point, and intend to improve further still going forward.
I will try to give every one of my old MERB's their own posts here, including my personal thoughts on each, and future installments will likely get various, multiple posts relating to them as their productions, which have become increasingly complex as I've made more battles, progress.
Moleman's Epic Rap Battles also has a Wikia Wiki, which was actually started not by myself but by a member of the general rap battle community who was making a point of documenting everyone's battles. Predictably, it doesn't get much traffic or outside editing, nor do I expect that to change all that much based on any publicity from this posting, but it is a place where I and a few choice online friends/fans of mine can be contacted, and if anyone reading this really is interested and/or does want to help, they are welcome to check it out / do so.
